Guernsey 360°: the island in one app
Guernsey 360° is an all-in-one guide to the Bailiwick of Guernsey for islanders, new arrivals and visitors. Anvi Itech designed and developed it with Flutter and Firebase, and published it on Google Play.

Living in or visiting Guernsey means checking many different sources: flight times, tide tables, the weather, which bins go out this week, where to buy fuel, what's on this weekend.
We built Guernsey 360° to bring those everyday questions into one fast, friendly app, with a dedicated guide for people who have just moved to the island.

Engineering highlights
One Flutter codebase
Built in Flutter, so the same code that runs on Android today can be used for an iOS version without starting again.
Firebase backend
Firebase powers optional sign-in and keeps each user's saved trips and bin-day settings in sync, private to their own account.
Many sources, one app
Flights, tides, weather, bin days, directories and events normally live on different websites. Guernsey 360° brings them together in a single, consistent interface.
Works when signal doesn't
Offline maps keep the island explorable on cliff paths and beaches, where mobile coverage can be patchy.
Privacy by design
Location is used only on the device and is never stored or sent to servers. Accounts are optional, saved trips are private to each user, and users can delete their account and data in the app.
Background audio
Local radio keeps playing in the background with lock-screen controls, like a dedicated media app.
